Affiliate is a word synonymous to "referrer". I am into affiliate marketing, this means that I


am the intermediary link between the owners of the goods and the clients. The owners of the


products and services that are being sold online are called the merchants. But the merchants do


not market their services to their customers. For that Job, they rely on middleman like me, who


is the affiliate. Simply put, I am only the person who is making the sales happen.


I am the salesman, who receives his money as part of the commission that I make from my


sales. So if I make no sale, I get no money. I promote high - quality products that I personally


find interesting and would consider purchasing, products I feel passionate about, instead of


only promoting products that are popular with everyone else. Believing in value of a product


makes me better at promoting it, because my promotional efforts will be more believable, and


because I will have a better understanding of what draws potential customers to that product


in the first place.
